The AB-MXR launched into King’s Road Sporting Club on 8th November, 2011. Dust PR come up with a gathering to commemorate the very first store for the AB-MXR accompanied by a mixture of clients, customers, personal trainers, health clubs as well as media attending.

The window of the retail store had been taken over to create a strong impact for passers-by by building a pyramid of product boxes and hanging AB-MXR Workouts from the ceiling – together with models doing routines! This attracted lots of interest and had the people walking by asking questions about the item and wanting to know more.

There have been product demos happening in store with models promoting the entire array of exercises that can be done using the AB-MXR workout, which produced talkability at the event and Joanna, the KRSC staff and the PR agency were available to answer the guest’s questions.

Joanna gave a speech about the progression of this product and the way of thinking and creativeness regarding the concept. Chiropractor Doctor Mikael Porath Petersen also said a few words concerning the health and fitness benefits of the AB-MXR workout, as it was his input that developed the perfect cervical support for the neck. Soon after people were flocking to the tills!

The event was a huge success, and the AB-MXR Workouts were flying off the racks all night!

The MXR Abdominal Work-out has become so popular, that even the Daily Mail are giving it a fantastic evaluation as disclosed here…

“Flat abs? No sweat… A cutting edge piece of apparatus promises to make sit-ups simpler, more effective and even enjoyable, thanks to The AB-MXR work-out.

Sit-ups present problems. It requires just ten of them before your neck aches, so we stop trying before we’re anywhere near to a toned belly.

However a brand new item of equipment offers to make sit ups easier, more efficient and, whisper it, actually enjoyable.

Developed by fitness fitness instructor Joanna Kabbani, the AB-MXR workout was created to support the neck, so your crunches really target your abdominal fat. It’s also well suited for recovery. According to Joanna, you simply need to use it for five minutes per day.

Cynical, I joined up with her for a workout. The contraption is weighted (up to 3kg), with small handles, and it’s shaped to cushion your head and neck.

It’s been tested by chiropractor Dr Mikael Porath Petersen from Optimal Spine Medical center, who points out: ‘It helps you do symmetrical workout routines effectively and safely.’

Straight off I managed 15 sit-ups without any of my usual straining – I felt balanced and within control.

I took the 1kg model home to trial. It was easy to maneuver around the house and, in spite of being a whiplash victim, I was given the self-confidence that I had been working out properly. It’s a superb piece of kit – although I will need a lot more than 5 minutes with it before I’m bikini ready…”
